Today was another Sunday, and another farewell. One of best friends from my childhood gave her last talk in church for a year and a half. My friend and name sharing cohort Dani Gomm is headed to Birmingham, Alabama within the next few weeks. We've drifted apart over the years but it was great to see her today and I know she is just going to be absolutely fantastic out there. It's crazy how many missionary farewells I've been to the last couple months and they just keep coming! I have 2 to go to next week alone. It's amazing how The Lord has stepped in and made the changes necessary for his saints to take the gospel all over the world to all of his children. One of the farewells that I have next week is one of my vey best friends. I honestly am not quite sure either of us would have made it through high school without each other. She's honestly my soul sister. I'm not going to lie, I'm still pretty sore that she won't be here for my wedding in July but I know that she is going to bless so many lives in Peru. I love this gospel so very much, with all of my heart. It's my rock and source of guidance and peace. I can't wait to go through the temple and then be sealed to my sweet honey for eternity. I hope ya'll had a fantastic Sunday :)

We're Grown-ups?!?
I've learned over the past couple of months that while I thought I had grown up to go to college, that was nothing in comparison to the growing up I would be doing in order to get ready to get married. Trying to figure out finances and insurance and phone and internet bills is down right exhausting!! Probably one of the more fun parts of this has been finding a place to live! I stressed for about 2 months straight and then the answer seemed to fall right into our laps. A family friend of ours manages some condos and was in a position to offer us a little bit of a deal and help us out. I went and checked out the place on Wednesday and on Friday Waylon and I signed the rent contract on our cute little condo. It's just east of the mall in Colonial Village or something to that effect. It's the most adorable little split level condo you could ever imagine. The landlord is having it deep cleaned and the carpet replaced and Waylon gets to move in on the 20th!! I'm actually kinda jealous to be honest. I'm just staying with my parents until the wedding which is way nice but I wish I could move in and get to organizing and decorating and what not but I'm sure it can wait!

Welcome back Summer, You little gem you!
It's officially unofficial summer in my world! That is, I'm done with school; though I realize it isn't actually the season of summer yet. I finished my last final last Wednesday and it was the most glorious thing ever. It was like a giant spikey flaming weight had been lifted off of my shoulders when I walked out of the biology building. I headed back to my apartment and packed up some more of my belongings before driving back to Logan, for good ish. You see, I officially live in Logan again; well with the exception of my furniture and kitchen supplies but I don't need those for a while since I'm living at home till the wedding. I'm officially on coast this summer and its the best. I'm working a couple of days a week at the Country Club again as well as enjoying being home. I'm excited to get to catch Per and Miles's ball games as well as try and get a handle on this whole wedding planning thing. I find myself wishing it would get here faster but I also realize that I am nowhere near prepared. I seriously need to get my butt into gear. Other than that stress and those little panic attacks I occasionally get because of the wedding planning, summer is off to a fantastic start! I can't wait to see all the adventures ahead of me this summer. It's going to be the best one yet.
